3. Stress Reduction
BATHING & GROOMING
During bathing we use Happy Hoodies to reduce anxiety. For dogs who exhbit high anxiety during grooming and/or nail trims, we have specialized dog hammocks.
KENNELS
Dogs are individually kenneled. If we are extremely busy we may kennel dogs from the same customer/family together, however your dog will NEVER be kenneled with another customer’s dog or in a group kennel setting.
ACOUSTICS
Our kennels, washing and grooming areas make use of recording studio sound absorption and reduction techniques to greatly reduce the noise level your dogs experience.
LIGHTING
Warmer color temp lighting is used in dog areas where possible, which has been found to have a calming effect on dogs.
SCENT
We sometimes employ certain scents, in particular lavender, that have been shown to reduce stress and anxiety in dogs.
GOOD NOISE
We use curated music playlists and white noise in kennel areas to help reduce stress and anxiety.
4. Disinfection & Cleaning
Veterinary Pathogens
REScue veterinary disinfectant and deodorizer is applied throughout the day to all surfaces and equipment that dogs come into contact with. Effective on Parvovirus (Parvo), Feline Calicivirus, Ringworm, Influenza, Kennel Cough and more.

VIREX Diversey II is an is EPA-registered hospital-grade cleaner that we apply daily. It eliminates COVID, HIV-1, VRE, MRSA, GRSA, MRSE, VISA, PRSP, Herpes Simplex Types 1&2, Influenza Type A2, Adenovirus, Rotavirus and many more.
Bathing Stations
After each bath the bathing station is washed down and veterinary disinfectant is applied.
GROOMING
STATIONS
Veterinary disinfectant is applied to all grooming tools and workstations after every dog. Scissors, combs and tools are disinfected and/or placed in Barbicide after every groom and overnight.
KENNELS
After every use, kennels are cleaned of any dirt/grime and veterinary disinfectants are applied to all surfaces.
CLEANING
TidyDog makes use of recommended cleaning products for surfaces that are effective on dirt and grime, yet are pet friendly and will not interfere with the efficacy of our disinfecting products.
